Materials:

Elevated Stand

1.5 yds – 10” wide Deco mesh

Bush of greenery

Large stem of faux pampas grass or feathers

2 – Matching Dollar Tree bushed, one linear and one compact

2.5” wide sheer, wired ribbon

Large Bowdabra

Bowdabra Bow Wire

Optional: Clip on air plants or succulents

Instructions:

First, cut a length of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next, take some decor mesh and working from the roll roll up the ends to hide any fraying. Scrunch down in the center and keep going till you have use up 1 -2 yards. Fold the ends under as you did at the start.

Now, fold in half a cedar bush spreading on both sides and lay it in the Bowdabra. Then in the same way add a Dollar tree floral bush.

Next, cut pieces from a large feather and add them to the Bowdabra. Now, add two lengths of ribbon for the tails.

Make the bow

Now, make a funky style bow folding lengths of ribbon with about a 6″ loop and 7″ tail.  lay these ribbon pieces in the Bowdabra alternating the side of loops and tails. Dovetail the ends. To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold. Then, add a hydrangea bush.

To finish insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.  Arrange and adjust you flowers and ribbons.  Attach the floral arrangement to the top of your elevated stand.

Alternately you can use your arrangement as a door swag, flat centerpiece, cemetery florals, or and elegant elevated floral arrangement centerpiece
