Welcome to today’s DIY tutorial! In just a few minutes, Sandy Sandler the creator of the Bowdabra guides you through creating a unique fall wreath using affordable materials from Dollar Tree and some special ribbons.

Make a unique fall wreath with Bowdabra

Materials:

Bowdabra bow maker

Bowdabra bow wire

Emelia Ribbon: 2-1/2 in x 10 yd, taupe 2 yards

Gold/Bronze Swirl Ribbon: 1-1/2″ Two yards

4-5 bundles of Dollar Tree Nautical Rope

Dollar Tree square wreath form

Linear floral bush

Hanging floral bush

Sunflower bush

Garden rose/peony bouquet

Instructions:

Begin by wrapping the Dollar Tree Nautical Rope around the square wreath form using a basket weave technique. Set aside.

Next, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Layer and arrange the linear floral bush, hanging floral bush, sunflower bush, and the opened garden rose/peony bouquet for a full and lush look.

Now, take one small piece of Emilia ribbon and one of the Swirl ribbon and dovetail the ends.  Lay them in the Bowdabra for the tails.

Add the Bow

Next, working with both ribbons together lay them in the Bowdabra, twist and fold to make loops for a bow in the center. Place a flower in the center.

Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.  Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

Adjust and arrange you bow loops and florals. Use the excess wire to tie the floral and bow on to your wreath.

This wreath is not only a beautiful addition to your fall decor but also makes for an elegant housewarming or holiday gift. This unique fall wreath has the versatility to grace your door during the fall season and continue to add charm throughout the holidays.
