How to make a super easy removable shoe bows

Do you want to add some extra pizazz to your Valentine’s Day? Add something extra to your outfit with these removable shoe bows. And the best part is that you can make them in any size or color in just minutes!

Materials:

Bowdabra Mini Bow Maker with hair bow tool and ruler attachment

Bowdabra bow wire

Sheer sparkle wired ribbon in your choice of size and color

3/8” grosgrain ribbon in matching ribbon color

Cabochon, rhinestone or felt motif

1-inch (25mm) small oval alligator clips

Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks

Instructions:

First, gather your supplies. Next cut an 18” piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other.

Now, fold the ribbon to make a loop on one side and insert the other end into the Bowdabra.

Then make a matching loop on the other side.

Finally, scrunch down with the Bowdabra wand.

Finish by inserting the two loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then remove from the bow maker, turn to the back, and tie a knot.

Meanwhile, using the glue gun cover the alligator clip with the 3/8” grosgrain ribbon all around.

Cut the excess wires. Add some bling like a rhinestone or something or some bling to the front center of the bow with the glue gun. Now turn to the back of the bow and use the glue gun to attach the alligator clip. Be sure you attach the clip facing down so that it will attach to the shoe front.

Fluff and adjust the bow and just clip your removable shoe bows to the front of your chosen shoe. You can alternate what shoes you want repeatedly. You can alternately even use it as a hair bow!
