Bowdabra Feature Friday: Week 4

Oh how we love you, dear Feature Friday!

We are thrilled to share our Bowdabra finds for Week 4. Bowdabra Feature Friday is a culmination of the amazing projects we shared during the week on our Bowdabra blog, Bowdabra Pinterest, Sandy Sandler Pinterest, Bowdabra Twitter, and Bowdabra Facebook.

This weeks Bowdabra Blog Happenings:

{Recipe} Mini Cinnamon Rolls – This is a fun little recipe that you can make with the kids. Add food coloring to the dough to fit the occasion. My daughter and I made pink and green for her classmates.

Home Sweet Home Paper Hearts with Ribbon – We found that using brown painter’s paper works great to weave ribbon-to-bead. The paper is lightweight but strong enough that it doesn’t tear.

Ruffled Ribbon Headband – We were so impressed by a tutorial by Kenneth King we designed a hand-stitched headband in collaboration with his tutorial.

Amanda of The Little Giggler Joins Bowdabra – So excited to welcome our newest designer Amanda of The Little Giggler. Amanda’s craft tutorials are inspired and designed for her “little giggler”.

Feature Friday Finds:

Spray Painted Beans – This is such a neat idea! Spray painting beans lets you color coordinate with the season or room. Many crafters have candy that they save for decorations that are non-edible; meaning it is last year’s candy, clearance candy, etc. However, the candy only lasts so long before it starts to discolor and I always worry about storing it. My husband would kill me if my craft candy caused a rodent problem. This is a great alternative!

I’ve Got the Blues – This adorable card by CMDesign. Carol designed this card not for any challenge but just because she wanted to. I adore the color scheme and the layered Mini Bowdabra bow with button center.

Pop Tab Bracelets – I am so intrigued by pop tab bracelets! I have already starting saving the pop tabs – MUST make some bracelets. Candy of Candy’s Clothes Closet shares the bracelets that her daughter made. Love them!

Mum – Maggie of Maggie’s Cat House entitled “Mum” is just too cute for words! It makes me giggle every time I look at it! Great job, Maggie.
