Materials Needed:
• Small bottle
• Wired ribbon – 5″ wide or more
• Hot glue
• Bodice pattern
• White foam sheet
Rhinestone Mesh
Mini Bowdabra/Ruler/Wand
Bowdabra Bow Wire
Let’s begin with a clean, small bottle. This is a wine cooler bottle which is a bit smaller than a regular wine bottle. Measure the distance from the bottom of the neck down to the base of the bottle. This will be the width of the wired ribbon you will need. The distance on this bottle is 5 inches. If you can’t find ribbon wide enough, you will need to make two skirts or more – positioning one lower than the other so that it reaches the bottom of the bottle.

Next, pull the wire on one side of the ribbon to gather to make a skirt, measuring it around the bottle to fit.

Once satisfied with the fit, adjust the gathers for the skirt. Cut off excess ribbon and tie the wires into a knot and remove excess. Place skirt over the bottle, gluing in place with hot glue. Run a line of glue along the skirt opening in back to close.

Copy and paste bodice image to save in Word and print out. Cut out image and trace onto a foam sheet and cut out.

Next, cut single strips from rhinestone mesh and glue onto edges of bodice.

Then, wrap the decorated foam bodice around the neck of the bottle, gluing in place, as pictured.

This is how the front looks:

Make the Bow

To Make the Bow: First, fold an 18″ piece of Bowdabra wire and place into the Mini Bowdabra, tucking ends under. Next, make a crease on one end of the ribbon and insert into the Mini Bowdabra.

Make a large 3″ loop by folding the ribbon over, making a crease in the ribbon and press into the Mini Bowdabra.

Next, fold and twist the other side at the same width for the next loop, creasing ribbon down into the Mini Bowdabra. Scrunch down the ribbon using the wand.

While the bow is still in the Mini Bowdabra, make a slip knot by taking the loose ends of the bow wire through the wire loop, pulling tight while gently pulling the bow out. Separate the wires around to the back, tying in a double knot.

Use the ribbon tail to wrap around the middle of the bow – gluing in place, for a finished look. Fluff and glue bow onto the center of back.

Too cute!

This really adds a lot of sparkle and bling to any wedding table decor!
