Create Bows and Wreaths Like A Pro With Bowdabra

Bows are not only simple to make but they also add such a great impact. You can add them to wreaths, trees, gifts, and more! They add that little extra oomph to your project, but so many people have no idea how to make them. Guess what? Today we’re going to show how to create bows and wreaths like a pro. So, grab some ribbon, some of our supplies, and get ready to be inspired for some crazy cute and festive crafting!

Patriotic Bow Wreath (Starts at 2:17)

Materials required:

• 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
• Large Bowdabra
• 2 1/2″ Rustic Ribbon Roll
• Hot glue
• Grapevine wreath
• Artificial greenery and blue flower decorative picks

Patriotic Bow Wreath

Process:

1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
2. After cutting off the tails (18”-20”) from the Rustic ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
3. He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 10 loops to give it a traditional bow design.
4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
5. In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds some artificial greenery and blue flower decorative picks with hot glue.

Simple bow tie (Starts at 11:57)

Materials required:

• 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
• Mini Bowdabra
• Yellow-Lime Green-Hot Pink Ribbon Roll

Simple Bow Tie

Process:

1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
2. After cutting off the tails from the yellow-lime green-hot pink ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
3. He creates 2 big loops on either side of the Bowdabra using the yellow-lime green-hot pink ribbon.
4. Using the same ribbon, he creates 1 button loop on the Bowdabra.
5. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

Funky Bow (Starts at 14:52)

Materials required:

• 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
• Large Bowdabra
• Blue Sheer Wired Ribbon Roll

Funky Bow

Process:

1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
2. He creates one loop (4 ½”) with two tails (6-8”) on either end, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
3. Using the same process, he creates 5 loops right into the Bowdabra.
4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.

3-2-1 Bow (Starts at 20:24)

Materials required:

• 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
• Large Bowdabra
• 2 ½” Red Burlap Ribbon Roll

3-2-1 Bow

Process:

1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
2. After cutting off the tails from the red ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
3. He creates 3 big loops on either side of the Bowdabra using the red ribbon.
4. Using the same ribbon, he creates 2 loops (3”) on either side of the Bowdabra and 1 button loop.
5. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

Traditional DIY Bow (Starts at 25:40)

Materials required:

• 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
• Large Bowdabra
• White-silver-glitter swirl ribbon roll

Process:

1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
2. After cutting off the tails from the white silver glitter swirl ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
3. He creates 10 loops on the Bowdabra to give it a traditional bow design.
4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
