How to Make the Easiest and Most Perfect Paper Easter Egg Wreath

With a bit of adult help even your youngest artist can create this easy paper Easter egg wreath. It all starts with a paper plate!!Paper Egg Wreath

Here are the supplies for the Paper Easter Egg Wreath:

  • Paper plate
  • Scraps of pastel colored cardstock
  • Scraps of pastel patterned paper/cardstock
  • White glue or double-sided tape
  • Scissors
  • 12″ length of ribbon
  • 16″ length of ribbon
  • Paper Egg Template

Let’s make the wreath:

  1. Cut the center out of a paper plate.Cut Center Out of Paper Plate
  2. Print the Paper Egg Template, then cut eggs from pastel colored cardstock and patterned paper. You can also decorate the blank templates with your own designs.Cut Out Paper Eggs
  3. Pierce two holes at the top of the paper plate for the hanging loop. Thread the 12″ length of ribbon through the holes, and tie with a knot.Pierce Holes and Add Ribbon for Hanging
  4. Hide the knot by sliding it to the back side of the plate.Slide Knot to Back of Plate
  5. Glue the first layer of eggs to the paper plate. I used all solid colored eggs.Add First Layer of Paper Eggs
  6. Then, glue on the second layer of paper eggs.Add Second Layer of Paper Eggs
  7. Tie a bow with the 16″ length of ribbon, and glue it to the top center of the wreath.Glue Ribbon Bow in Place on Front of Wreath
