How to Make the Perfect Fourth of July Patriotic Wind Streamer

Red, white, and blue yarn waves gaily from this patriotic wind streamer. It’s the perfect outdoor decoration for Memorial Day and Fourth of July.

Here are the supplies you’ll need:

• One Mason jar ring (I used a large ring, but a regular size will work, too)
• Red, white, and blue yarn cut into twelve 30″ strands of each color
• One 24″ strand of yarn (any color) for hanging

Let’s make the patriotic wind streamer:

1. With one length of yarn form a lark’s head knot around the jar ring.
2. Continue adding yarn around the jar ring alternating colors—one red strand followed by a white one followed by a blue one.
3. Tie the hanging yarn in place.
4. Hope for just a light breeze to see  your patriotic wind streamer dance in the sunshine.
