Instructions:

First, Cut a piece of pool noodle to the height of your topiary.  Wrap the pool noodle piece with wood grain contact paper.

Next, cut up enough pool noodle to fill the bottom of the flowerpot. Use hot glue to attach the pool noodle pieces and to secure the trunk.

Now, starting at the base of the topiary attach the greenery vine and twist it around the trunk to the top. Insert the end into the top of the pool noodle. Add some rocks into the base to add some weight as the topiary will be top heavy.

Next, add the single blooms of sunflower, hydrangea, and magnolia right in the pool noodle base. Set aside.

Make the bow:

First, cut a long piece of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half and lay it in the Bowdabra.  Tuck the ends underneath the Bowdabra to stay out of the way while you are making your bow. Then, lay in a floral pick. (This will be used to add the bow to the trunk.)

Now, place a shorter tail piece of 2 ½” wide sunflower ribbon in the Bowdabra.  Then, with the longer piece twist so the printed side if facing up and make a loop. Continue folding and twisting making loops back and forth. Continue twisting and folding with some 1 ½” wide sunflower ribbon ending with a small button loop.

Thread the loose wire through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra.  Remove, turn to the back, separate the wires, and tie a knot and double knot.

Shape the bow.  Use the floral pick to attach the bow to the topiary pool noodle stem.

Make the top of the Bowdabra Topiary

Cut a very long piece bow wire fold it in half and place it in the Bowdabra.

Now, lay in some long florals, greenery and various flower bushes right in the Bowdabra. Balance the flowers on each side.

To finish, thread the wires through the slip knot loop and pull very tight. You may want to wrap the wire around twice.  Then, tie a knot, double, and triple knots.

Add the swag topper to the top of the topiary with the floral and greenery stems. Shape out your floral swag. You have a simple awesome Bowdabra topiary!
