Instructions:

First, cut out the music print paper to fit the wooden star. Next, spread a layer of Modpodge all around and attach the paper to the star. Now, sand all around the edges.  Then rub the ink all around the star.

Rub some of the ink on the cedar branches as well to make them look more natural.

Make the bow:

Fold some jute twine in half and place it in the Bowdabra.  Now, lay in the 5-inch squares of burlap followed by the cedar branches. Then, add the last piece of burlap square on top

Next, add some 12″ x 1″ strips of drop cloth in the Bowdabra folding back and forth to make loops. Repeat this step with some black and tan fabric strips. Add some 5-6″ pieces of lace one at a time. Continue in this way alternating between fabric strips and lace.

Finally, pull up the loop and ends of the twine. Then,  thread the ends through the loop and pull tight. Separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Fluff out the bow. Hot glue the bow to the star.

Add the bells:

Spread some Modpodge over the bells and sprinkle with the cinnamon.  Add more Modpodge on top. Attach the bells with some Jute twine. Use a staple gun to attach the bells to the star.

You have a gorgeous Vintage star door hanger to be proud of all winter long!
