Hey there, I’m Lexi from the Bowdabra Design Team, and I’ve got something super cool for Valentine’s Day – the Mini Bowdabra Valentine’s Day Pinwheel Hair Bow! It’s a cute way to jazz up your hair with some love. So, let’s get into the simple steps to make this awesome and festive hair bow!
4 Corker ribbon pieces
A matching bead
Elastic ponytail holder
First, cut the tails at opposite angles. If the ribbon is wired you may want to remove the wires.
Next, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and place it in the Mini Bowdabra. Tuck the ends underneath to stay out of the way while making your hair bow.
Now, fold the ribbon in half to find the center, pinch a fold mountain up, and scrunch it in the Bowdabra. Then, bring one end over and make another mountain up fold, scrunch that in the Bowdabera. Repeat for the other side.
Next, add four different corker ribbon pieces. Thread the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the hair bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove from the Bowdabra, separate the wires, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Bring the wires back to the front and thread on a matching bead.
To finish, bring the wires back to the back of the hair bow and tie a knot. Then, use the excess wires to tie it onto a ponytail holder. Trim off the wire and fluff and shape your gorgeous pinwheel hair bow! Make several of these beautiful hair bows to give as Valentine’s Day gifts to your besties!
